Alecia came to work part-time for me when she was also working full-time as a groom for the thoroughbred farm. I’ve had a number of excellent helpers from that farm over the years, but Alecia remains one of the very best. I always felt that she gave my four-legged children (a senior quarter horse and a young fjord pony) the same level of care, attention and love that she gave the multi-thousand dollar babies across the road! Alecia grew up around horses and it was easy to see that she is a ‘natural’ ; always a calm, steady and gentle way with the horses and super-pleasant with their humans! She did everything i asked around the farm: feeding, grooming, blanketing; chores like stacking hay bales, filling water troughs and harrowing the fields; and basic training including ground work and riding. Alecia did not need much direction if any; she could see what needed to be done and i didn’t have to ask. I was absoluteley comfortable leaving my horses in her care when I had to go out of town. If you need experienced and reliable help with your horses, Alecia is your gal!”
